Registration

1. Register for tournament and pay entry fee (€5 per person)
2. entrants will be sent an email with link to upload first video on {insert date}
3. all first round entries will be judged by {insert date}
4. those qualifying for second round will be sent an email with link to upload second video on {insert date}
5. all second round entries will be judged by {insert date}
6. those qualifying for the final round will be sent an email with link to upload final video on {insert date}
7. all final entries will be judged by {insert date} and winners notified

Individuals can compete in more than 1 category if suitable for just one 1 entry fee.

All competitors should be advised that categories may be merged, depending on numbers.  Unnecessary rounds may be skipped.

Judging

1. 5 judges per category
2. Points system, top and bottom marks excluded
3. All Judges are garda vetted and qualified

Security

1. Data will be stored in a secure database and accessible only to HDKI organisers all of whom are garda vetted.
2. Access to videos will only be available to organisers and judges.
3. Videos will not be shared, but winners may be asked to provide consent to share their winning kata and/ or a photo.

Appeals

1. There will be no appeals process – judges decision is final
